The
basis of all writing is reading. How well you read will depend on how well you
write and get through college. When you read, you are looking at different
levels of writing, and ask different questions. This is also how you write.
Always approach reading with these levels of questions. Six
levels of reading:
1. Can
you identify the characters in
the story so far? (Knowledge)
2. How
would you describe the teacher's
role in this story? (Comprehension)
3. How
can we use what we learned so
far? (Application)
4. What
is making these stories different and
interesting? (Analysis)
5. How
to modify a story to make it
better? (Synthesis)
6.
Can you predict how the class will react to
the next story? (Evaluation)
